| As a way to honor the Buddhas at the shrine, people cover the statues in gold. At the temple, you can get tiny little pieces of gold leaf that you stick onto the statue. Some of the gold was coming loose on these statues. The loose pieces were blowing in the breeze, making it look like the statues were sparkling. |
